鐵丸石
鐵丸石在泥岩的石核中可見，台灣「鐵丸石」主要分佈在南投埔里與中寮、苗栗泰安、高雄六龜、屏東三地門、萬安。硬度約4~4.5度，石皮含氧化鐵，色沈若鐵，故取名為「鐵丸石」。
鐵丸石可加工製成石壺、硯台、筆洗、文鎮、甕、瓶、茶盤、茶葉罐、臥香爐、小豬等，質優色美形佳，令人讚嘆不已。
