船到橋頭自然直

       有位好朋友在橋頭的一家私人診所當中醫師，生病時我們會專程從屏東搭火車到橋頭找他看病。他很有佛心，常用五祖偈語：「有情來下種，因地果還生，無情亦無種，無地亦無生」來自勉。他的醫理主要是教我們「如何調養身心」。看了幾次病後，身體果然慢慢地好轉。因此我常引用俗語「船到"橋頭"自然直」來調侃自己。
       南宋楊萬里在「桂源舖」中提到:「萬山不許一溪奔，攔得溪聲日夜喧，到得前頭山腳盡，堂堂溪水出前村。」可見得做人，凡事不要太逆勢而為，盡是無謂地煩憂。我們面臨壓力時，只要盡力而為，也許看似山窮水盡疑無路，可能柳暗花明又會有一村。
       我覺得「船到橋頭自然直」這句話與南宋楊萬里「桂源舖」的意涵是相通的!
